Each month of the year I'm focusing on a new way to grow closer to the LORD. It started last year; however, life began lifing very hard from January. It started with COVID (my second bout and still quite serious), then in April uncontrolled diabetes. I started a health journey, lost 80 pounds, went through many health issues with family and my fiance's family, and horrible depression and anxiety for most of the year. WHEW.
But God. But God. He didn't let me give up entirely. I did get about helof the year completed and I certainly grew closer in my walk with Him! So, I'm going to call it a win. I read the entire Bible in a year as well, and that felt really good!
Just less than two weeks ago, He told me to come back to this project. So, here I am. I am going to obey and do what He is urging me to do.
June is fasting and surrender. And I will be completely honest with you right here - I FAILED my first fast. I was supposed to fast today and I had an issue with work and my first thought was to drown out the noise with food. And yes, I am mad at myself. But, I will try again.
Please see below for a day filled with SURRENDER:
A Full Day of Surrender
